Postgame...The Story Of Tricky Dickey

The Mets came out on top tonight thanks in large part to R.A. "Tricky" Dickey. As a whole the team did all the small things tonight in order to beat the Orioles 5-1.

-R.A. Dickey went 7 strong innings tallying 8 K's(a career high for him) and surprisingly only 1 walk.

-Chris Carter had one hit but it was a huge one. He blasted a 3 run homer to right center in the 4th to put the Mets on top 4-0.

-Wright went 3 for 4 with 2-RBI's

-Ruben Tejada tracked a couple balls into the outfield, showing us that he has a good idea of what to do with himself on the defensive side of the ball at second.

I'm sure you can guess who tonight's game ball goes to...Tricky Dickey. He was wholly unpredictable, as was the case in his 3 of his 4 previous starts. He was so unpredictable that Barajas spent most of the night on the grass behind home plate. Dickey was also very much a defensive ninja, snatching a few comebackers.
