A little over a week ago I posted some stats from some of the young arms in Savannah. One of those arms, Mark Cohoon has continued to look fantastic. He tied a South Atlantic League record by pitching back to back to back complete game shutouts. The 6'2" LHP from Burleson,TX has thrown 90.1 innings to the tune of a 1.30 ERA. He also has some great control only walking 17 batters and striking out 75. The ratio could be better but keep in mind that in conjunction with his walks he has only given up 68 hits, of those only 2 have been homeruns. Continue to keep an eye on this kid as he could be on the move soon being a 23 year old lefty in low A ball. It's obvious that he's proven his dominance down in Georgia. Let's see if he can continue it in Florida and then maybe upstate by years end.
Callin On Cohoon...Again
