Yesterday the New York Mets made their first, and maybe not its last, transaction of the season by acquiring Jorge Padilla from the Blue Jays. Padilla was signed as a minor league free agent by the Jays in the off season and has put up some pretty good numbers for their triple a affiliate before the Mets acquired him.
