The Mets chose catcher Blake Forsythe, a junior from the University of Tennessee. Blake stands at 6'2" and weighs in at 220 Lbs. His stats were not overly impressive. In 199 AB's Blake hit .286 with 15-HR, 57-RBI's, 31-BB, 54-K's.
