A quick look at last night's minor league action shows some not too pretty results. However, there was some silver lining.
Buffalo lost 6-4 to Durham last night, but saw both Russ Adams and Mike Jacobs hit solo shots. Our man Bobby Parnell continued his up and down season with a little bit of up, going two and giving up only one unearned run on two hits, a walk, and two strikeouts. Tobi Stoner didn't fare so well, giving up 13 baserunners and five earned runs in five innings. Ouch.
The only other action Mets' minor league teams saw last night was in St. Lucie, where the Mets lost 9-4. Fernando Martinez continued his rehab by going 2 for 5 on the night with two singles. Also, Josh Satin continued his impressive 2010 campaign with a 2 for 4 night, including an RBI. That brings his season totals to .315/.403/.463 with 5 HR and 32 RBI. Impressive on the surface, until you see that he's 26. That's considered geriatric for the Florida State League.
