Feliciano has certainly earned the distinction. He has pitched as well this year as he has at any point in his career.

I do have some reservations about this move for two reasons. One, Feliciano typically does not fare well when leading off an inning. Two, throughout his career, Feliciano has been a much better pitcher in the first half of the season. Truthfully, I kind of like the revolving door in the eighth. I know the guys in the bullpen don't, but it keeps the opposing team off balance, as they never know for sure who they're gonna face.
